No. This is expected behavior with MCP. For security reasons, MCP sessions expire based on the bank’s security settings. You just need to sign in again to reconnect MCP.
This usually means your user account hasn’t been enabled for MCP access. You should contact First Internet Bank at [email protected] or 1-888-873-3424 to confirm that MCP access has been provisioned for you.
If your MCP connector isn’t working even though it appears connected, you will need to fully disconnect and reconnect MCP. That means going through the complete MCP sign-in flow again—not just refreshing the page.

No. MCP shows a total balance across all accounts, including Certificates of Deposit. Digital banking shows total available cash, which excludes CDs. Both views are accurate—they simply reflect different balance definitions.
MCP only displays fully verified external accounts. If your external account is still in the verification process, it won’t appear in MCP yet.
