David B. Becker – President and Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Becker has served as Chief Executive Officer of First IB since its inception and has served as President since January 2007. Mr. Becker has a history of successful start-up companies in financial services and technology. In 1981, he founded re:Member Data Services to provide electronic data processing services to credit unions throughout the United States.

He served as CEO of re:Member Data Services until the company was acquired by Open Solutions Inc. in 2004. In 1995, he founded VIFI, which provided Internet services to financial institutions and corporations from 1995 until it was acquired by Digital Insight Corporation in 2002. Mr. Becker also founded, and remains actively involved as CEO of, three other Indianapolis-based companies: OneBridge, a credit and debit card processing firm; DyKnow, a company specializing in educational technology for interactive learning experiences; and RICS, a firm that provides inventory control and POS systems for retailers via the Web.

Mr. Becker was the first chairman and remains on the board of TechPoint, a change agent for Indiana's technology industry. Mr. Becker is also a past chairman and member of the board of the TechPoint Foundation for Youth, promoting STEM education programs for students in the state. Mr. Becker is the outgoing Chairman of the Central Indiana Community Foundation (CICF), a public charity established to improve philanthropic services supporting the central Indiana region, and has also served on the board of the Central Indiana Corporate Partnership, an alliance of CEOs and university presidents working to promote economic growth.

A firm believer in the value of higher education, Mr. Becker has supported a number of Indiana universities. He is currently a member of the Dean's Advisory Council for the School of Informatics at Indiana University (IUPUI) and the advisory board for The Robert C. McDermond Center for Management and Entrepreneurship. He has previously served on an advisory board for the IT Associates Program at DePauw University as well as the Board of Trustees at Vincennes University.

Mr. Becker is a 2001 recipient of the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award and a 2002 recipient of the TechPoint Trailblazer in Technology award. In 2004, he was named Sagamore of the Wabash by Indiana Governor Joe Kernan. In 2008, he was inducted into the Junior Achievement-sponsored Central Indiana Business Hall of Fame.

Mr. Becker is a graduate of DePauw University.

Kay Whitaker - Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Ms. Whitaker joined First IB in January 2013. In addition to her role as CFO, she also holds the title of Secretary of the Board of Directors. Ms. Whitaker's previous experience includes five years as CFO at Central Indiana Community Foundation (CICF), where she provided financial oversight for 800 philanthropic funds and 165 investment accounts across multiple portfolios as well as the operations of CICF and affiliates. At CICF, she consistently delivered top quartile investment returns and was named 2012 CFO of the Year in the not-for-profit sector by the Indianapolis Business Journal.

Prior to that, Ms. Whitaker was Vice President and CFO/Treasurer at Citizens Energy, where she headed a corporate acquisition, issued debt instruments, and implemented SOX compliance controls. As a consultant with PriceWaterhouseCoopers, she advised multi-billion dollar firms on finance operations, governance and enterprise risk management.

Ms. Whitaker currently serves on the advisory board for Grameen America Indianapolis and Treasurer of the Indianapolis Neighborhood Housing Partnership Initiative. Ms. Whitaker was a founding member of the (Indiana University) Kelley School of Business Women’s MBA Advisory Board and has also held advisory roles with Humane Society of Indianapolis, Trinity Episcopal Church and the Indiana Writers’ Center.

A graduate of Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business, Ms. Whitaker received her bachelor’s degree in Accounting and her MBA in International Business. She is a member of the AICPA and Indiana CPA Society.

Edward A. Roebuck - Senior Vice President and Chief Credit Officer

Mr. Roebuck joined First IB in August 2012, in the newly created position of Chief Credit Officer. Mr. Roebuck's prior experience with National City Bank included Senior Vice President/Chief Credit Officer for Northern Indiana in Ft. Wayne; Senior Underwriter with the primary authority for adjudicating new middle market lending opportunities in Indiana; Deputy Chief Credit Officer in Akron and Youngstown, Ohio; and credit and retail banking positions in Cleveland.

Mr. Roebuck held lead credit roles related to National City acquisitions in Northeast Ohio and Northern Indiana. Additionally, Mr. Roebuck held a senior asset manager position with PNC Bank. He earned a bachelor's degree in Finance from Bowling Green State University and an MBA from Case Western Reserve University's Weatherhead School of Management.

Michael E. Lewis - Senior Vice President, Commercial Real Estate Banking

Mr. Lewis joined First IB in 2010 to launch the Bank's commercial real estate lending effort. He has held senior loan management positions throughout his career with Summit Bank, NBD Bank, Bank One, LaSalle National Bank, Chase, Union Federal Bank of Indianapolis, Sky Bank, and Huntington National Bank. Mr. Lewis attended the University of Toledo.

Nicole Lorch - Senior Vice President, Retail Banking

Ms. Lorch joined First IB in February 1999 as Director of Marketing. From 2002 -2011, Ms. Lorch served as the Bank’s Vice President, Marketing & Technology. Previously, Ms. Lorch held marketing roles at VIFI (Virtual Financial Services) and re:Member Data Services. Ms. Lorch earned a bachelor's degree from DePauw University and an MBA from Indiana University – Kelley School of Business.

Kevin B. Quinn - Senior Vice President, Retail Lending

Mr. Quinn joined First IB in April 2008 in the position of Vice President. Previously, Mr. Quinn was the Senior Vice President at First Indiana Bank where he was responsible for the consumer finance area, including secondary marketing and wholesale lending. Prior to joining First Indiana Bank, Mr. Quinn served in a senior management capacity for several financial institutions. He is a graduate of Michigan State University.

Connie J. Shepherd - Senior Vice President, Commercial Banking

Ms. Shepherd joined First IB in 2011, bringing a team of commercial bankers with her to further diversify the Bank’s commercial lending portfolio. She has held senior loan management positions throughout her career with Mellon Bank, National City Bank, and M&I Marshall and Ilsley Bank, where she had a reputation for building successful work teams and devoting resources to develop useful product sets for businesses. Ms. Shepherd serves on the Board of Premier Capital Corporation and the Indiana Sports Corp. She has an undergraduate degree from Indiana University and an MBA from Indiana University – Kelley School of Business.

David R. Lovejoy - Vice Chairman of the Board

Mr. Lovejoy assumed the role of Vice Chairman in January 2007. Mr. Lovejoy previously served as President at the Bank from 2000 to 2006. He is currently a managing director, chief compliance officer and chief financial officer of Greycourt & Co., which provides investment advisor services. Mr. Lovejoy has extensive experience in financial services, corporate development and strategy, corporate restructuring and startup. He has served as the Vice Chairman of Mellon Bank Corporation and Security Pacific Corporation, and as a director of the Los Angeles Branch of the 12 District Federal Reserve Bank and Phelps Dodge Corporation.

John K. Keach, Jr. – Director

Mr. Keach is the former President, CEO, and Chairman of Indiana Community Bancorp and Indiana Bank & Trust Company. In addition, Mr. Keach previously served on the Board of Directors of the Federal Home Loan Bank of Indianapolis, chaired the Indiana League of Financial Institutions, and participated as a Board member for the Indiana Bankers Association as well as the Indiana State Chamber of Commerce.

Mr. Keach is involved in numerous community activities in Columbus, IN, where he resides.

Ann Murtlow – Director

Ms. Murtlow is President & CEO of United Way of Central Indiana. She previously completed six years of service on the board of the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago. From 2002-2011, Ms. Murtlow was the President and CEO of Indianapolis Power & Light Company, making her one of the few female CEOs in the electric utility industry. Her past and present board affiliations include: Central Indiana Community Foundation, Central Indiana Corporate Partnership, Economic Club of Indiana, Edison Electric Institute, Herff Jones, Indianapolis Chamber of Commerce, Indiana Energy Association, Indianapolis Zoological Society, The Mind Trust and Women’s Fund of Central Indiana.

Ralph R. Whitney, Jr. – Director

Mr. Whitney is a principal at Hammond, Kennedy, Whitney & Co., a New York financial intermediary and private investment banking firm, since 1971. He currently serves a director of Baldwin Technology Company, Inc. and has served as a director of Excel Industries, Inc. and served as chairman of that company’s board of directors from 1983 to 1985, as a director of Dura Automotive Systems, Inc., which merged with Excel Industries, and currently serves as chairman of the board of directors of First Wyoming Capital Corp. and as a director of S.A. Technologies, as well as an advisor to Cheyenne Capital and Access Venture Partners.

Mr. Whitney is also a Trustee of the University of Rochester and a director of the University of Wyoming Foundation.

Jerry Williams – Director

Mr. Williams has been a practicing attorney for more than 40 years and is associated with Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP, an Indianapolis-based law firm. He previously served as executive vice president, general counsel and a director of ADESA Corporation, and was responsible for more than 20 acquisitions. He is a past director of NNC Group (and chaired its compensation and audit committees), the Indiana Secondary Market for Education Loans, Inc., a state chartered organization originating and acquiring higher education loans, and Gleaners Food Bank of Indiana, Inc.

Jean L. Wojtowicz – Director

Ms. Wojtowicz founded Cambridge Capital Management Corp., a consulting firm and manager of non-traditional sources of business capital, in 1983 and currently serves as its President. She serves on the boards of directors of publicly traded companies Vectren Corporation and First Merchants Corporation in addition to the National Association of Development Companies and the National Association of Business Development Corporations.
