First Internet Bank CEO to Present Leading Light Award

First Internet Bank President and Chief Executive Officer David Becker will present an award at the 2014 Leading Light Awards event this evening in Indianapolis. The Leading Light Awards honor women of achievement in science, education and technology.
Mr. Becker will present the Leadership Award, which recognizes an individual who has exhibited outstanding leadership in her field and/or in community contributions. Twelve women have been nominated for the award.

“I’m honored to present the Leadership Award to recognize this individual who has made a positive impact on other women in the Indiana technology community,” said Becker. “All of the nominees have made outstanding contributions and serve as great role models and mentors for the next generation of leaders.”

The awards are presented every other year by Women and Hi Tech, a non-profit organization established in 1999 to address the specific needs of women in high tech industries in Central Indiana and to encourage more women to consider careers in technology. More than 400 attendees representing business and technology are expected at the dinner and silent auction event at the Indiana Roof Ballroom.
