First Internet Bank’s David Becker Inducted into Central Indiana Business Hall of Fame

First Internet Bank of Indiana (First IB) today reported that its President, CEO, and Chairman, David B. Becker, has been inducted into the Central Indiana Business Hall of Fame.

Since it was established in 1989 by the Junior Achievement Board of Directors, the Central Indiana Business Hall of Fame has honored 82 laureates for their significant contributions to the corporate and civic community.

“What an honor it is to be among such a distinguished group of business leaders,” Mr. Becker said. “To be recognized by Junior Achievement is particularly gratifying, because so much of my motivation comes from wanting to create better opportunities for young people – not only my own children, but also to those of the community.”

About David Becker
Mr. Becker has served as Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of First IB since its inception and has served as President since January 2007. Mr. Becker has a history of successful start-up companies in financial services and technology. Mr. Becker was the first chairman and remains on the board of TechPoint, a change agent for Indiana’s technology industry, and is Chairman of the Board of the TechPoint Foundation, a group established to bridge the digital divide in Indiana. He is currently a member of the Dean's Advisory Council for the School of Informatics at Indiana University (IUPUI) and has served on advisory boards for The Robert C. McDermond Center for Management and Entrepreneurship and the IT Associates Program at DePauw University as well as the Board of Trustees at Vincennes University.
