First Internet Bank Maintains High Ranking on Gómez Internet Banker Scorecard

Indiana-based Internet Bank Earns High Marks in Both Overall Score & Overall Cost Categories

First Internet Bank of Indiana (First IB) today reported that it has once again secured the number four 'Overall Score' on the quarterly Internet Banker Score-card compiled by Gómez, Inc., a leading provider of e-commerce customer experience measurement. The Indiana-based Internet bank earned this distinction for the second consecutive quarter, while simultaneously moving into the number one position in the 'Overall Cost' sub-category with a perfect score of 10 out of 10 points. The entire score-card can be viewed at http://www.gomez.com/scorecards.

"We are very pleased to once again receive such favorable reviews from a highly regarded, industry-specific expert like Gómez," said First IB Chairman and CEO David B. Becker. "We believe the latest Scorecard rating truly reflects our commitment to delivering to our customers a broad spectrum of innovative, top-quality financial services at a favorable cost.".

First Internet Bank is the first state-chartered, FDIC-insured institution to operate solely via the Internet. The institution now has over $200 million in assets and customers around the country. (Don't let the "Indiana" in the name fool you; anyone can sign up.) Customers may access their accounts via personal computer, touch-tone phone, or a WAP-enabled digital cell phone.

Services include no-fee interest-bearing checking accounts, regular and money market savings accounts with industry-leading interest rates, CDs, IRAs, credit cards, and check cards that can be used instead of cash or checks. First IB also offers personal lines of credit; installment loans; unique real-time transfers between accounts; and the ability to display checking, savings and loan information on a single screen.
